ABOUT US
Grant Communications is a  public relations firm providing publicity and consulting services for long- and short-term clients.  Focusing on the arts, but with clients in other fields as well, the company provides local, nationwide and international public relations services.  

Grant Communications specializes in developing communications strategies specifically tailored to each client's needs, and designed to accomplish the goals of creating and advancing public awareness of  the client and their image and activities in the media. 

Clients
Since opening its doors in 2006, clients have included the record label NSS MUSIC (founded by violinist Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg), the January 2007 Lincoln Center concert of pianist Jorge Federico Osorio presented by Roosevelt University’s Chicago College Of Performing Arts, the Cliburn Foundation’s 2007 International Piano Competition for Outstanding Amateurs,  the October 2007 debut North American tour of the KlangVerwaltung Munich Bavarian Philharmonic Orchestra, the November 2007 memorial event at Jazz at Lincoln Center for the late Russell Johnson, the spring 2008 New York area productions of Lee Hoiby's operas The Tempest and This Is the Rill Speaking, the 2009 debut of pianist Diane Walsh in her Broadway debut with Jane Fonda in Moises Kaufman's 33 Variations, the Music Institute of Chicago, the 2009 Thirteenth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, the summer 2010 opening of Rockport Music's new Shalin Liu Performance Center in Rockport, Massachusetts, baritone Mark Delavan, the American String Quartet, conductor Rebecca Miller, violinist Vadim Gluzman, The North Shore Chamber Music Festival, Oberlin Conservatory of Music's Rubin Institute for Music Criticism, the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival, and the inaugural concert in New York City of Music for Life NYC's New York Women's Ensemble,  among others.

Current clients include: violinist Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg, conductor Carlos Miguel Prieto,  composer/pianist/ singer Clarice Assad, soprano Audrey Luna,  the record label NSS MUSIC, The Solti Foundation U.S., Fort Worth Opera,  American Lyric Theater, the Colburn School, and various music related projects. 

Laura Grant, Founder
Laura Grant, founder of Grant Communications, brings 19 years of extensive public relations experience to every project.   For 12 and 1/2 years, she served as a publicist for M.L. FALCONE, Public Relations  in New York City,  promoting artists, organizations and events, and was responsible for the conceptualization and implementation of long-  and short-term public relations strategies to create public awareness of and to promote clients’ images and activities in the media. While at M.L. FALCONE, Public Relations, clients included: pianists Jean-Yves Thibaudet and Russell Sherman, violinists Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg and Corey Cerovsek, soprano Renée Fleming, flutist/author/television correspondent Eugenia Zukerman, conductors Dennis Russell Davies, Christoph Eschenbach, Andrew Litton (Dallas Symphony Orchestra), Zdenek Macal (New Jersey Symphony Orchestra), Rachael Worby and David Robertson, and cellist Daniel Muller-Schott, the Avery Fisher Artist Program and the Seaver/NEA Award.  Ms. Grant also worked on press for national/international tours for clients such as the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra, and the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra.

In addition to her work with the company's clients, Ms. Grant serves as a publicity consultant to students in the Artist Diploma Program at The Juilliard School.

Location
Grant Communications is conveniently located in northern Massachusetts and on the Upper West Side in New York City, making travel to clients an easy plane or train ride from Boston or New York City.
